Electromagnetic Flow Meters
Electromagnetic (Mag) flow meters provide obstruction free flow measurement of all conductive liquids including: chemicals, food stuffs, pulps, acids, pharmaceuticals, slurries and effluent. Their high accuracy is unaffected by changes in fluid viscosity, line pressure, temperature or density. Electromagnetic (Mag) Meters are available with a choice of liner materials, outputs, connections and displays for safe and hazardous areas.
Electromagnetic (Mag) flow meters are also suitable for applications with high solids content due to their non-intrusive design. Measurement is achieved via electrodes mounted in the body of the meter which sense the changes in a magnetic field caused by the passage of electrically conductive liquids. Flanged Magnetic Meters as well as Hygienic Mag meters are available with options including USB connection, wireless radio communication, integral data logging and much more.
