G4 Diaphragm gas meter used in academic study

Jul 5, 2019

The Department of Mechanical Engineering, London, Univeristy College London, and the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Ahmadu Bello Univeristy Nigeria, collaborated on an article entitled "Influence of Combustion Characteristics and Fuel Composition on Exhaust PAHs in a Compression Ignition Engine".

The authors' scientifc research used our G4 Diaphragm Gas Meter to measure the volume of gas that passed through a partciculate filter. This piece of work looks at the effects of exhaust emissions of PAHs from a diesel engine operated at both constant fuel injection and constant fuel ignition modes.

This article was featured in Energies which is an open access journal related to development and research in engineering and can be found here.

The authors are Hamisu Adamu Dandajeh, Midhat Talibi, Nicos Ladommatos and Paul Hellier.
