Bell Flow Systems is partnering a UK company involved with a novel fuel additive process. The additive is blended during delivery
in a controlled ratio to improve cetane rating and to provide a cylinder lubricant which replaces sulfur and reduces valve, ring and bore wear by up to 600%. This class of Coastal vessel was recently fitted with the novel additive system and performance logged during sea trials using an 8 channel data logger supplied by Bell Flow Systems, complete with Dual temperature compensatedDiesel Fuel flow meters , infra red RPM and temperature probes.
