The TBQSe Digital Quantometer is designed for metering the volume of natural gas as standard and is approved in accordance with European Regulation 2014/68/EU. The TBQSe Quantometer can be installed in potentially explosive atmospheres in category 1G (ATEX/IECEx Ex Zone 0) Ex ia II C T4 Ga (see Annex B, page 33).


The TBQSe Digital Quantometer is a volume flow meter with a nine digit LCD. The flow of the gas to be measured causes the turbine rotor to rotate. The gas flow is narrowed on an annular cross section, is accelerated and directed onto the smooth-running Aluminum turbine blade The number of rotations is proportional to the measured gas volume; the frequency of rotations is proportional to the actual gas flow. These pre-calibrated rotations of the blade are integrated within the TBQSe EVC in conjunction with signals from the Temperature and Pressure Senors to provide highly accurate flow measurement to AGA NX-19 

The TBQSe Digital Quantometer is suitable for measuring the volume of the following gases: (See manual for full list)

• Natural gas (Default), towns gas, propane, butane, ethylene, air, nitrogen, noble gases, liquified gas
• Biogas (Oil pump model only)
• Natural gas with a maximum H2 content of 20% (H2 Ready)
• Other gases can be metered on request
