MASP Technology for advanced signal processing

HVFlo XCi utilises doppler ultrasonic velocity sensors utilizing the MACE Advanced Signal Processing (MASP) technology. This technology allows the sensor to “see” across the entire stream profile, providing a  true average velocity. MASP technology allows HVFlo XCi to achieve superior results from a very wide range of flow conditions. The technologyensures that even during full pipe, surcharge, or reverse flow conditions, HVFlo XCi will provide accurate, repeatable results every time. The HVFlo XCi also offer the option to add a WebComm card to give remote access to your data via GSM/3G cell networks. WebComm can also be configured to provide alarms to an unlimited number of personnel within an organisation.

FloSeries3 Cards for XCi devices

Add-on cards for flow metering, flow monitoring and data logging

XCi – Multiple cards for multiple sensor applications. The XCi platform is expandable and future proof, only add cards as and when you need them.

The XCi (multiple card interface) developed by MACE for the FloPro, AgriFlo and HydroMace allows the user to connect just about any sensor. Users can install any combination of the MACE FloSeries3 cards shown below, in the five available card slots of an XCi device. Choose the right card/s for your application to tailor the device to your exact monitoring requirements.

 Doppler card

The FloSeries3 Doppler card provides the input for connecting MACE Doppler ultrasonic velocity sensors.

Each MACE Doppler ultrasonic velocity sensor is terminated with a 9-pin d-connector that plugs in to the Doppler card. The sensor cable is securely attached to the card by tightening the thumb screws.

MACE Doppler ultrasonic area/velocity sensor
MACE Doppler ultrasonic velocity sensor

WebComm card

The MACE WebComm card provides all MACE FloSeries3 devices (FloPro XCi, AgriFlo XCi and HydroMace XCi) the ability to automatically upload internal logged data to the web-based MACE Data Server via mobile telephone networks.

The MACE Data Server is integrated with the www.macemeters.com and www.maceusa.com websites, and allows easy access for retrieval of field data. Unlike “conventional” data services, MACE will provide this data server free of charge to its’ customers (subject to MACE SLA).
