Capable of identifying problems that reduce efficiency and damage equipment, the new Dynasonics® DXN-5P Portable Non-Invasive Ultrasonic flow meter is a powerful troubleshooting tool that combines transit time and Doppler ultrasound technology. For clean fluids, the transit time method provides the best flow measurement. However, when air or debris is in the liquid, the Doppler signal strength increases with the flow as the ultrasound reflects off air bubbles or particles. Unwanted air and debris can damage pipes, pumps, valves and other equipment and understanding when those situations exist allows you to take preventive actions.
