Domestic RHI now Open!

Mar 13, 2014
Householders can now also benefit from the Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI), a world first
financial support scheme for renewable heat that has been up and running for the non-
domestic sector since November 2011. ma

Designed to revolutionise the way heat is generated and used in homes across Great Britain,
RHI intends to increase the uptake of renewable heat technologies, help cut carbon emissions
and reduce energy bills. Where certain trigger points are met, the domestic RHI will require a
heat meter to be installed by a Microgeneration Certificate Scheme (MCS) installer.

The new Minocal® C5 RHI Compliant range of heat meters from Minol will be able to cover all
applications with a variety of technologies available.

“Where heat metering is required, a heat meter that is MID Class 3 or higher is critical,
the RHI claim will not be processed without meeting this standard as a minimum.”

The Minocal® C5 range consists of three meters;  IUF which is compact ultrasonic technology that
conforms to MID Class 2 in any orientation,  CFM which is a coaxial multi-jet principle designed to
be flexible and economical that conforms MID Class 3, and the  ISF which is a compact mount
single-jet design which also achieves MID Class 3.

We also provide a RHI Heat metering kit for larger pipes which ensures you have everything that
you require to meet the stringent RHI MID Class 2 standards.
